Terms of Use
Melty Paws · last updated: October 4, 2026
By playing Melty Paws, you accept these terms. The game is published by Lyrad Studio (Lyrad, sole proprietorship, 68 cours de la Liberté, 69003 Lyon, France, SIRET 106 027 741 00011). The terms of Google Play or the App Store also apply.
1. Licence
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to play Melty Paws for private, non-commercial use. The game (images, sounds, texts, characters, code) remains our property or that of our licensors. You may not copy, resell, modify or decompile it, except as the law allows.
2. Virtual items and purchases
- Coins, tools and other in-game items are a licence to use within the game. They have no real-world value, cannot be exchanged or refunded for money, and cannot be resold.
- Purchases are paid through Google Play or the App Store, under their terms. The price in your currency is shown before each purchase. The game offers no subscription and no randomised item sold for money.
- Right of withdrawal (EU/UK): by buying digital content delivered immediately, you agree to its immediate supply and waive your 14-day right of withdrawal, to the extent permitted by law.
- Refunds are requested from the store (Google Play or Apple), under their rules and applicable law.
- The lasting "VIP · no ads" purchase can be restored on a new device with the same store account (Settings › Restore purchases). Consumed items (spent coins, used tools) cannot be restored.
3. Ads
The game is free and partly funded by ads. Some ads are optional and give a reward; the reward is granted when the ad has been watched to the end. The "VIP · no ads" purchase removes forced ads; optional rewarded ads stay available if you want them.
4. Behaviour
Do not cheat, use software that alters the game or its purchases, exploit bugs to obtain items, or disrupt the service. In case of abuse, we may remove items obtained improperly.
5. Changes to the game
We may update, change or remove content to improve the game. If we shut the game down, we will announce it at least 30 days in advance in the game and on this website, and stop selling items at that point.
6. Liability
The game is provided as is. We do our best to keep it working, without guaranteeing it will always be available or bug-free. Your progress is saved on your device, so it may be lost if you delete the game or its data, or change devices. Nothing in these terms limits your consumer rights, including the legal guarantee of conformity for digital content, or our liability where the law forbids excluding it.
7. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by French law. If you are a consumer in another country, you keep the protection of your country's mandatory rules. If there is a problem, please write first to lyrad.studio@gmail.com. If we cannot find a solution, you can use a consumer mediator free of charge (its details will be published on this site before any in-game sale). Otherwise, the courts designated by law have jurisdiction.
8. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms; the new, dated version is posted here. For significant changes, we will let you know in the game.
